We operate an upfront flat fee structure so that you know what you get and what it costs before you start. Our prices are not per hour, so you'll be able to budget accordingly.

The prices below are "per trademark" except where stated.  Our prices are GST free unless you are a New Zealand applicant.

Australian Basic Search

trademarkzone will search the Australian Trademarks Register for identical and similar marks in classes which cover your goods and services. We will will inform you whether someone else has registered, or applied to register, an identical or similar trademark in Australia before you file your application with IP Australia.

We will also review the formalities of your application and classify your goods and services.

Australian Full Search

trademarkzone will search the Australian Trademarks Register for identical and similar marks in classes which cover your goods and services and conduct a search of the Australian Companies Register, Australian telephone directories, top level and Australian domain names and the Internet.

We will also review the eligibility of your trade mark and advise you on the registration potential of your mark, review the formalities of your application and classify your goods and services. 

Global Navigator™ Search

Where you are planning to apply for protection of your trade mark in a number of overseas countries, the GLOBAL NAVIGATOR™ search will provide you with an identical trade mark search in up to three classes of the following major trading nations:

Trademark Application

trademarkzone will manage the entire trademark application filing process on your behalf. We will:

  1. Prepare your trade mark application and classify your goods and services
  2. File your application electronically with IP Australia 
  3. Check and forward a copy of the filing receipt
  4. Where the Trademarks Examiner issues an initial Examination Report raising objections to the registration of the trademark, receive and forward a copy and an analysis of the Examination Report
  5. Where the trademark is accepted, receive, check and forward notification of the official acceptance
  6. Monitor the application through the advertisement and opposition period

  2. Alert you whether other traders have applied for a similar trademark with IP Australia.

  4. Check and forward a copy of the confirmation of the change from IP Australia.

  1. Review the goods and services of your trademark
  2. Provide a detailed report within 2 working days informing you where your goods and services are correctly classified
  3. Provide an analysis explaining your options.

Address For Service                                              AU$100 per client

Plus Postage and Handling costs

  1. File your request with IP Australia
  2. Forward a copy of the confirmation from IP Australia
  3. Receive any documents that are sent to your Address For Service
  4. Forward those documents to your postal and/or email address.

Response to Examination Report*                      AU$400 per letter*

trademarkzone will:

  1. Analyse the Trademark Examiner's Report
  2. Provide recommendations on how to proceed
  3. Respond to the Examiner's Report and forward a copy of the response to you.
